Try out these tips to make this modern look work in a living room setting
Pink in all its avatars is on trend right now, and we thought it would be a great idea to try a bit of blush in a home setting. It is undoubtedly a tricky colour for the home, but with the right styling you won’t have to worry about feeling like you are living inside a candyfloss fantasy of a 3-year-old. The trick to making the colour work lies in drawing focus to a few well-chosen details, introducing some neutral colours - we chose grey and black - and layering sparingly with textures and patterns. We also like the idea of an edgy lamp and brushed gold pieces, which add some instant glamour to this otherwise pared down look. Another suggestion is to pick a couple of pieces of art (check out our article on how to buy art online here). Your choice of subject matter, colour and medium can exude tons of personality with minimal effort.
