A tropical entrance

Imagine if you could bottle a bit of the holiday vibe? This tropical entryway with palm prints and whimsical pieces is a throwback to our last beach holiday

What would it feel like to walk into a mini-vacation scene? This tropical entrance, with it’s palm leaf print and distressed finish furniture lends a tropical beach vibe to the entryway.

A distressed finish chair paired with a matching cabinet, topped with greens and art frames completes the setting.

You can bring in a few quirky and eccentric elements into the setting to break the monotony.

We love the beachy, bohemian vibe. It's got holiday-loving written all over it. And if like us, you dig this look then we have just the tips for you. We would want it in our entryways, after all, you know the trope about first impressions. So relaxed, tropical is great but remember, it's the first thing people see when they come home. So, it needs to be in order – we won't go as far as saying immaculate but make sure you have a place for everything. You also don’t want anything visually overpowering – stick to light colours to make the space inviting. Work the tropical prints, whites, greens and leaf prints – think sandy beaches and ice cold pina coladas. Good. Now, that you have a mood backed by a colour scheme, work on the furniture. Instead of metal racks and stands, invest in a distressed-finish cabinet. Don't forget seating – a chair will do too, to help wear even the most cumbersome boots. And what's a holiday vibe without a touch of whimsy – introduce elements that will up the quirk factor, this will lift your spirits when you come home after a long day. Lastly, don’t forget to roll out a carpet in a contrasting shade for that extra pop of colour.
