You may have noticed that using purely one style of design in a room can sometimes make the room look very monotonous and uninspiring. It just isn't in nature for spaces that we inhabit to be inorganic. While designing a space, an expert would fuse two or more aesthetics to create a space as unique as the individual using it. Mixing and matching is an art and we can show you how you can combine different styles to style your space like a pro!
Living Room
Design is in the detail when it comes to blending styles. In this living room, you will notice that we have paired a comfy bottle green Munich three-seater that is bottom heavy with a patterned Hamburg two-seater that has a structured back and angular long legs. The two pieces are very different but are tied together by the cushions, rugs and curtains in the room. What also compliments the space is the Durham center table made of sheesham wood, which when placed between these sofas, mimics the view outside the windows.

Dining Room
Highlighting your neutral and simplistic pieces with accents is a great way to mix up styles. In this dining room we have a teak finished Alder Dining set made of sheesham wood which is a great example of an elegant basic piece, highlighted with a patterned wallpaper and a contrasting green wainscot. Even the two contrasting wall textures have been neutralised with the black beading that separates them. A combination of all these elements are what brings character to this unique and compact dining space.

Bedroom
Following the 80-20 rule while introducing a darker shade is an excellent way to break the monotony in a room with a limited and light colour palette. If you look at the bedroom here, we have a heavy walnut Flemingo queen bed with storage, alongside the delicately latticed Varios side tables. What ties these two contrasting pieces of furniture together is the majestic and plush headboard that punctuates the room. This focal point is further complemented with cushions in different sizes and shades within the same colour palette.
