The Samode Haveli

The Samode Haveli, designed in the Indo-Saracenic style of architecture, has a lot of royal inspiration to offer

Intricate murals that stretch from the wall to the ceiling, a heritage structure that has probably been witness to many a royal battle and inhabitants who are direct descendants of the palace’s royal ancestors, The Samode Haveli holds the secrets to all these intrigues and more in its more than 175 year old history.

Designed in the Indo-Saracenic style of architecture (made popular by the British during their occupation of India), The Samode Haveli in Jaipur stands as a heritage hotel today that allows you to dip your toes into its shared history with the Pink City.

We love the ornate wall murals and colonial style of furniture that occupy the Haveli. For those who have a love for colonial-themed décor, a tour of this royal residence will be inspiration enough for the next few decades, we believe.

The bedroom reveals the print on pattern trend – right from the floor and rug to the bed canopy and upholstery.
The Indo Saracenic style of architecture is revealed in the gentle arches and sharp lines seen here.
The ornate dining hall reveals heavily patterned walls that are reminiscent of the royal times witnessed by the haveli.
Another bedroom suite reveals a grand for poster bed and vintage furniture.
