Post all the online retail therapy, especially during the lockdown, we have been left with a ton of cardboard boxes to get rid of. This material in particular can be recycled, thankfully! But taking it all to a recycling unit isn’t the most feasible idea at this point. Plus, the local Raddi-wala may not be available. So if you are feeling a pang of environmental guilt at the piled up boxes, here’s the next best solution. Upcycling!
Our guest DIY stylist Andrew Fernandes, reconstructs regular cardboard boxes into three interesting new products. With his expertise in art and craft, he has come up with ideas for us that not only look great but are also useful. Plus, they are super easy and so much fun to do, so get your kids to join in. All you need is your basic craft kit, i.e some paints, brushes, sketch pens, scissors and glue. Don’t forget to put your artistic cap on!
Here’s how you can do these:
Cute Cacti:
You now have an adorable looking piece of décor and one less cereal box!
Storage Box:
Another carton down and a fancy storage box good to go!
Now you have a pretty desk organizer. A perfect addition for the work from home days!
