In small flats or apartments, locating the space for the pooja area can be difficult. It’s not unusual to find the pooja room in kitchens or bedrooms. Having the pooja space in the bedroom is generally not considered wise, as Vastu suggests that no one should sleep in the pooja room. If there is no other alternative than the bedroom, the northeast corner of the bedroom is mostly used. Furthermore, the bed is positioned in such a way that your feet don’t point towards the pooja space.
