Shweta Tripathi Sharma’s New Delhi home reflects her vibrant personality
Designed by Beautiful Homes Service by Asian Paints, the actress and influencer’s bedroom and bathroom are tranquil spaces that spark joy and showcase her interests
Indian actress Shweta Tripathi Sharma worked with Beautiful Homes Service by Asian Paints to conceptualise the interiors of her bedroom and bathroom. She wanted the interiors of her New Delhi home to be an extension of herself—now her bedroom and bathroom are warm and elegant yet highly practical spaces. “I would like to thank Beautiful Homes Service for giving me my dream space. Everything and everywhere that I see, it sparks joy and this is exactly what I wanted,” she says.
Shweta’s light-filled bedroom features a colourful wallpaper, exquisite wooden pieces, comfortable soft furnishings, and cosy nooks such as a bay window seat and a rocking chair for her to relax after a long day. The bathroom is inviting, with an arresting colour palette and state-of-the-art fixtures. Shweta worked with Beautiful Homes Service’s interior designers—Barannya Dey and Shiksha Singh, to make her dream home a reality. “My first interaction was with the Beautiful Homes Service’s interior designers who listened patiently to all my ideas and my requirements and within a couple of days they were ready with a 3D design consultation. I was awed by their design inputs and how well they had designed the space. They had literally put together my thoughts and their expertise in designing the room,” Shweta adds.
After sharing her brief with the interior designers, Shweta visited the Asian Paints Beautiful Homes store to finalise the furnishings and materials. The interior designers guided her every step of the way. “The Asian Paints Beautiful Homes store in Mumbai had all product categories, be it furniture, fabrics, rugs, kitchen, bathroom accessories and even lighting options. So many choices under each product category. But thanks to the Beautiful Homes Service designer who assisted me in selecting the right fit for my space, keeping my taste in mind. She really made it very easy and smooth for me,” she says. After all of the shopping, it was now time to get the final bit done—execution. “Frankly, I was a bit sceptical at first at how it would all look, but kudos to the execution team, they handled it all very professionally,” adds Shweta.
We spoke to the interior designers to learn more about the whole process, along with some tips and ideas.
Beautiful Homes (BH): How did Shweta Tripathi Sharma envision her bedroom and bathroom?
Barannya Dey and Shiksha Singh (BD and SS): Shweta desired a bedroom that gave her the feeling of being at home. Being an actor and influencer, she travels frequently, so her spaces had to have a homely touch. She wanted a cosy and personalised space to unwind in that was aesthetically pleasing yet functional and showcased her personality and likes.

BH: How did the Beautiful Homes Service help make Shweta's dream bedroom a reality?
BD and SS: After receiving the interior design brief from Shweta, we introduced her to furnishings and materials that matched her design aesthetic and vision for her dream home, such as the Nilaya Furniture collection, Sabyasachi Wallpapers, and lighting fixtures. Shweta’s main requirements were that she wanted a space to relax in and stay connected to nature. She also wanted unique furnishings that depicted intricate and specialised work. For this reason, we introduced her to Asian Paints’ Imphal series of wooden furnishings. This collection of furniture is practical, but exhibits distinctive craftsmanship at the same time.

BH: Tell us a bit about the process of working with BHS.
BD and SS: We spoke to Shweta to understand her requirements and needs. We then had a 3D design consultation with her and selected all the materials and furnishings at the Asian Paints Beautiful Homes store. Once approved by Shweta, we began the execution. Since Shweta is very busy and travels a lot, she couldn’t always be present. This is where the Beautiful Homes Service team ensured that what was designed would be executed, with no deviations.
