The perfect bed is hard to find. Either you like the headboard but want more storage or you love how it looks but your room doesn’t allow for the storage drawers to open properly! Asian Paints now gives you the option to make your own bed in the most convenient way possible. Here’s how you do it!
Step 1
Choose your preferred headboard design; do not worry about the size or colour at this stage and focus on picking the pattern of the wood blocks. The options are straightforward, elegant and easy to understand when you go through them. Pro Tip: If you have a high ceiling, then pick the headboard with the vertical pattern!
Step 2
Choose the size of the bed. Although the length of both the king and queen beds are a standard 6.5 feet, the king size bed would be a foot wider than the queen size. Your bedroom design plays a pivotal role in the kind of bed you are going to choose. However, at this point, all you must ensure is that you have a clearance of two feet on either side of the bed for ease of movement.
With the Make Your Own Bed option, you can have a custom-designed bed in just five steps.
Step 3
Choose the kind of storage you’d like to have within the bed. In case you would like storage, would you prefer drawers or hydraulic storage? If you are strapped for space on either side of the bed, it is recommended that you opt for a hydraulic bed. The hydraulic beds from Asian Paints’ catalogue are made with high end pro-lift bed fittings by EBCO that can take up to 120 kg. of load and come with a 12-month warranty from the manufacturer.
Step 4
Choose the colour finish. There are three options for finishes, the first one being ‘teak’. Teak is the lightest finish of the three but also the one with the most grains and texture. Mahogany has a rich reddish tinge that immediately adds depth to the furniture. Walnut is a dark brown that is guaranteed to go with any bedding you choose and also a colour that usually contrasts most light-coloured floors and walls.
Step 5
Add to cart - While your perfect bed is being made, look up interesting ways to style your bed with soft linens, fluffy pillows, cushions, accent throws and tray tables!
