We take a look at fashion trends that have made their way into our homes

Some runway looks are too good to be closeted. Be it intricate damasks or the plush velvets, delicate lace or bold prints - bring them out in your living spaces so you can enjoy them irrespective of the season.

Fur
Fur: Left, a model walks the runway at the Richmond show during Milan Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2016/17. Plush and luxurious, fur is big this season, with most of the big daddies of fashion zeroing in on this for their collections. You can use incorporate this look in your interiors using throws, duvets, cushions, etc.
Lace Print
Lace: Left, a model walks the runway wearing Marchesa Fall 2016 during New York Fashion Week. Delicate and exquisite, lace spells almost instant indulgence. There are boundless ways of incorporating this in your décor; you can choose lace fabric for curtains as sheers, paper doilies as tabletop arrangement, or delicate laser cut metal lamps. Another way of introducing it in your décor is sandwiching a length of lace between two glass or acrylic sheets to create a screen or room divider.
Animal Print
Animal Print: Left, A model walks the runway during the Bottega Veneta fashion show as part of Milan Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2016. Prefer the leopard spots to the cutesy cat illustrations? Pick the print you love and use it as you please. There are no rules for this one, louder the better. Upholster your couch, fashion some cushion covers or simply use them on the floor as carpets, animal prints are here to stay.
Velvet Print
Velvets: Left, model walks the runway at the Carolina Herrera Fall/Winter 2015 collection during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York. There’s nothing more sinful and divine than sinking into a plush velvety sofa. Add some tufted details along with a matching footstool for a touch of royalty.
