With the winter setting in, we are thinking of newer ways to enjoy the outdoors, while it can get cold and bleak, there’s nothing a spot of colour can’t change. Whether it’s comfy cushions, bright upholstery or bold prints, bring in a dash of colour to create a cheerful outdoor space.
You can opt for an all grey, cement-finished look and break the monotony of it all with chairs in contrasting colours, seen here are Tolix metal chairs in red and white.
You can ace the chic Indian terrace look with a mix of embroidered cushions and metal lanterns along with a huge dose fuchsia pinks and marigold oranges.
Work with solid colours for the upholstery to create a big bright block of colour, which you can then break using multiple cushions in different patterns. What we love the most though are the rows of lanterns on the wall. Can you imagine how magical these would be lit, on foggy, winter evenings?
