Skip the yellows, blues and greens for an all-white snooze haven
The first thing that pops into our head when we hear the words white bedroom is Scandinavian design. But, not all white bedrooms have to have that distinct Nordic feel to them. It is difficult to wrap one’s head around the concept of a white washed bedroom, as it can look cold and empty and yet, that’s the best part about it. White gives you immense scope to play around with accessories and decorations.
Not only does white make a space look bigger and brighter, it also immediately instils a feeling of calm and tranquility. As this is a place where you go to unwind and relax, too many colours can prove to be a distraction. If at all you want pops of colour, they can be introduced in the form of art, framed pictures, bed linen and even rugs and side tables.
