The key to this look is to bring in only a few visually heavy, antique and vintage pieces and pair them with minimal furnishings in soft, muted colours. The bedrooms feature antique desks and chairs, traditional bedside tables and Colonial-style dressers set against creamy white walls. The tadelakt walls and counter lend a rustic vibe to the bathroom while the wood frame adds warmth to the grey palette. A wonderful addition are the drop lights above the mirror – they have chosen shapes that are similar but not identical.

Create a rustic reading corner in your bedroom with a chair and traditional armoire with elegant white walls. Add a throw pillow with subtle floral prints or bird motifs to enhance the décor.
